good morning,
my daughter downloaded something and now the cd rom is not
working, error message is cd rom has a bad block,I believe
the drivers for it have been corrupt or changed,my
question is how do i get them back ,i can't use cd rom to
reload anything,for system restore.I need some help.Ty

You could try rt clicking on MyComputer>select
Properties>Hardware>Device Manager>Dvd/Cdrom Drives. Rt click on yours and
choose uninstall. Restart and let XP reinstall it.
