What 27in Monitor to get

hey guys

just finished building my new pc and now need a monitor

i was looking at the Asus VG278HE but it sems to get a poor review. i had bugeted for that monitor so i have $600 to play with. 3D would be cool but wouldnt be used alot so not important really. i want to get 2 27"monitors down the track or mybe 2 24"s

i love gaming but the missus is a photograher so i want something that suits both needs

i7 3770k @ 4.5GHz
Gigabyte z77x-ud5h-wifi
Gigabyte GTX670 OC'd ED
