Hello,
I'm new to the forums and had a question that I hoped someone could answer for me. First off I'm using the following:
AMD 7970ghz video card
Display 1 - Dell 23" monitor - connected via DVI
Display 2 - Dell 23" monitor - connected via display port
Display 3 - Epson HD projector - connected to Onkyo receiver via HDMI
I have my computer in my home office with 2 Dell monitors, and then the projector is in the adjoining room connected via a long HDMI cable.
I'm trying to use the 2 Dell monitors together (extended) and then the projector independently of the other 2. So far I haven't found a way to do this. I currently setup all 3 together so my projector is an extension off the 2nd monitor. This isn't a huge deal, but the problem is I can't get the audio to work on my projector through my Onkyo receiver.
Up until recently I just had 1 monitor and then the projector. At that time I had to enable and then disable LCD overdrive in order to get the sound to work. Now that doesn't even help. I'm using Catalyst 12.10.
Anyone have any ideas? This seems like it should be a lot easier to setup than it is. I must be missing something.
