No Display

Hey all,
My new build is physically running (All fans going, LEDs on), but the monitor reads no input and goes to sleep. The Graphics card has been reset in two different slots, and still no response4. It is an MSI GTX 680 Twin frozr, running through dvi to vga converter for an old monitor. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi, The card has a DVI-I and a DVI-D port? Have you connected the adapter to the DVI-I port?
Does it require additional PCIe power connections?

It has DVI-I and DVI-D, the adapter is connected, and it has all the power it needs

What are the motherboard, CPU, RAMs and power supply?

ASRock extreme6 z77, i5 3470, gskill ripjaw 1600, coolermaster silentpro gold 1000w

Try uninstalling the graphics card and use the onboard VGA port. See if it does POST this way.

Can you check on the board, it should be a sticker with the BIOS version (something like P1.20, or P1.40)

I cannnot find that. What would be the issue there?

The I5-3470 requires the 1.40 BIOS version. I wonder if the 1.20 would support it, supposing the board has the 1.20 BIOS version.
