DVD problems

I am watching a DVD and then the screen goes black, but I can still hear the audio. When I touch the mouse it starts the DVD from the begining. I am using a laptop Toshiba Satellite 2750. Do I need to update my drivers, clean my DVD or what? Your help would be great.

what dvd player are you using, and how fast is that laptop?
you can also try cleaning the lens..
but most likely, it is the laptop going into powersaving mode..
check that out...look in the powermanagement setup in the control panel.
other than that, i dunno...
