Will this build work without an graphic card? please help

Why wouldn't you get a graphics card?

No, neither the motherboard nor the CPU have graphics capabilities - the easiest way to tell is to look at the I/O ports of the motherboard, in the case of the AsRock 970 Extreme3, you notice there are no DVI, HDMI or even VGA outputs... nowhere to connect a monitor, that should be your first indication that a dedicated graphics card will be needed.

Nope, no display outputs on the motherboard, not that the CPU has any integrated graphics in it.
If your after just a display output, not gaming performance, this is the card to get.

The $500 build is a good place to start

Both of your latest builds would work. Personally, I'd go with the Intel build. When you've saved enough money, get a quality power supply and a discrete graphics card for gaming.
