Low Performance

Hi guys, I was searching on youtube my computer's configuration, and i saw a guy, running games with almost the same hardware as mine, but getting better performance.
My hardware:

Athlon II x2 250 @3.0Ghz
4GB DDR3 1333Mhz
Geforce GT 240 DDR3 512MB

The hardware from the video:
Athlon II x2 250 @3.0Ghz
2GB DDR3 1333Mhz
Geforce GT 240 DDR3 512MB

An example is the game Syndicate, i get 30-40 FPS, and he was getting 60-70 FPS.
Can someone tell me what could be happening to my system?

You can't trust those things 100 %.
Also what are you guys settings? Are they exact the same?

But you will get some extra power by overclocking as well. Your CPU should easily run 3.8 Ghz on stock cooler.

Our settings are the same, the only difference is the memory ram, he's using 2GB, and I'm using 4GB.

In the video i bet he doesn't have his case open does he? I think its impossible he's getting double FPS with YOUR hardware, he HAS to be using something different.
