BenQ XL2420T 3D Question

I'm looking at purchasing 3 3d monitors. i was looking at the benq xl2420t but i didn't know if i had to buy 3 emitters or 3 sets of the nvidia 3d kit. i was also wondering if you only need 1 3d kit can i buy the xl2420tx and 2 xl2420t and be able to do surround 3d.
