Is this a good gaming build?

mobo- Asus sabertooth 990FX

CPU- AMD bulldozer AM+3 FX-6100

GPU- XFX Radeon HD 7870 core 2GB

PSU- 650W XFX Pro Series Core Edition 80 plus bronze

RAM- 8GB Corsair DDR3 Vengeance (1 stick)

Ive got a main HDD at 10000rpm so I'm not looking to upgrade that

I'm also searching for a rear exhaust fan 120mm to help cool the system ofc.
(case is Novatech Galaxy III) back when i bought this case I didn't pay much detail to cooling etc. as I didn't really think about building a gaming pc (my friend will put all the parts together I'm just picking what I want).
I'm still a noob at all this but I'll learn with time

My budget is really in range of £500 max and the above are already £480 including delivery.
The website I am purchasing the components from is www.scan.co.uk

So yeah, would this be a decent gaming build? I plan on playing Arma II / DayZ, Battle Field 3, maybe COD and other games which aren't as high in demand of cpu and gpu usage (CS, MC etc.)

You could ofc suggest alternatives if they're cheaper and just as good. The only part im unsure about is the mobo.
Thanks you :D

  1. anyone please? I really want to order the parts so they come for the following week
    -BUMP-
  2. If you want to go cheaper, use the Phenom II x4 965, HD 7850, 4GB of RAM, and maybe a 550w PSU if you're not looking for upgradeabilty.
