Hi. Those parts are compatible but if you don't mind buying from Amazon I recommend this for a gaming build. Since you're buying a discrete graphics card, there's no real point in getting an APU. If you decide to go with the original build, replace the PSU, GPU, case with the ones I recommended and buy 8GB (2 x 4GB) of RAM (only 2 slots on motherboard).

Case: NZXT Source 210

$30 after rebate

PSU: CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 500W

$30 after promo code and rebate

MOBO: BIOSTAR H77MU3 LGA 1155 Intel H77

$50 after rebate

RAM: Patriot Memory Intel Extreme Masters 8 GB (2 x 4GB)

$32

CPU: Intel Core i3-2105 Sandy Bridge 3.1GHz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115090
$105

GPU: ASUS HD7850-DC2-2GD5-V2 Radeon HD 7850 2GB

$170 after rebate

HDD: Unchanged
$50

The total of this build is $467 after promo code and rebates. If you're willing to spend $12 over your budget, I highly recommend the i5-3470 for $180 from Amazon.
