What are you going to use this machine for?

If gaming is the primary function, then downgrade cpu form i7 to an i5 3570K, the hyperthreading won't help in games esp when they barely code for 4 cores.

Not a bad cpu cooler, but consider other alternatives, hyper 212 evo, thermaltake frio, noctua D-14.

Motherboard is sound.

Get rid of that OCZ PSU, grab a corsair, Seasonic or Antec. and you DON"T need that much power either.

A corsair 700-750W is more than you need. 1

6GB won't fully be utilized on a gaming system bt if you are heavy multitasker or use a ramdrive, then it is worth it.

The power supply calculator on New eggs tells me I need over 900, this system will be used for gaming mayb 8 hours a week and mostly for doing video editing and transcoding, I was going to use the H100i but got talked out of it in favor of the Silver Arrow which seems to be as good but quieter I'll look into a different PS that one was Gold rated figure it was safe how about this PS
Antec High Current Gamer Series HCG-900 900W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V v2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Certified 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

that system as you configured uses 622W.. ( too close to use a 650, but 700-750W is fine...

Get a corsair HX750 if you are that concerned..

I use the outer vision psu calc and it came up with 622W needed. and I have never had an issue taking that advice. H1001 is out performed by the H80i lmao and the all in one solutions are quite loud

I should add that using 2 ssd in raid you will not notice much difference in performance if any over a single drive. the reason fro this, is that the performance increase over a traditional hard drive is in access times. in which case, you won't get better access times when there are no moving parts

What's your total budget for the build? Maybe i can suggest one better, and why RAID 0 2 SSDs? You can get a large one, it will be more reliable.

I have 2500 Max and to be honest I have a 1Tb drive and a 3Tb NAS backup I want raid for the speed now that it is supported.

I do want to grab a new router and a new DVD player and a small switch so call it 2200-2300

I do want BT and TB THW rated that MB as one of the top with those features and it has the PLX to use them all.
