My LCD monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 150N, and it only has analog connection support I think, not DVI.

What is the advantage of DVI, and am I missing anything by not using DVI, but using analog?

Clarity. Computers are digital, LCD's are digital so keeping the siginal between the two provides the most clarity of text and edges. However, for reasons I don't understand, color reproduction can vary between DVI and Analog. Seems analog gets the vote in this regard most of the time that I have seen.

I prefer DVI since the clarity of text is more important to me.
