Just ordered a graphics card and It's pretty big, not sure if its gonna fit it my case and I have no money left over to buy a case so that is a problem.
cut it in half....
are you serious ? you need help but you dont give any info ?
info that can help you having a good answer to your question... what is your case model and what is you graphic card model ?
The motherboard has NOTHING to do with it. You need to know the distance from the back case bracket till you hit something over the pcie x16 slot. Harddrive cages or something else could stock out over the board. We could tell you if you'd tell us what case. Otherwise grab a ruler.and measure

We could give some decent estimates on the size of it. Depending on how the case has the hard drives oriented as well as whether its a standardized layout or not. I'm lazy and its much easier to just grab a ruler and do it yourself...
Have you upgraded the Psu there? cause the Oem is only a 250w nonamer
and if the card is smaller than the motherboard you will fit it into the case no problems
The Psu is my main concern though, what card have you bought?

Sorry for such a long respond, I was playing some games with friends.
I'm upgrading my PSU to 600w and the card I'm getting is a 7850, I got the one on sale and didn't see how big It was only had $200 to spend on a graphics card so I picked that up.
