My 5770 just died and I'm looking for an upgrade that's around 130 bucks. I kinda want to get an nvidia card since all my previous cards have been amd, but it's not a requirement.
The best card for $130 is the HD 7770, which is a decent upgrade from what you had - I'd advise a $150 GTX 650Ti if you want Nvidia. Don't get the cheaper GTX 650 instead, though - it's not an upgrade from your HD 5770.
If you need more help, what are your games and monitor resolution?

Resolution is 1920x1080, and I play starcraft 2, diablo 3, dota 2, and the occasional FPS. The games that I usually play aren't graphic intensive, but I'd still like a good enough video card to play something with fancy graphics from time to time. It seems like the best card for my budget is the 7770. Any manufacturers that offer a lifetime warranty?

From WHAT I HEARD, XFX has lifetime warranties, just throwing it out there
