Ok, I'm using ECS p6bx a+ with the newest bios. My other HD which is loud quantumn fireball is working fine under udma33 but the fujitsu one just won't work in udma33. I aksed in newsgroup and someone told me some old bx boards have problems with udmamode5-capable HDs. What can I do? PIO is so damn slow.

Interesting how Fujitsu's website doesn't list UDMA33 as a supported method on the <A HREF="http://hdd.fujitsu.com/global/drive/mpg3xxxah-e/catalog.html" target="_new">MPG3409AH overview</A>. Here's a snippit:
100 MB/s (UDMA mode 5), 66.6 MB/s(UDMA mode 4),
16.7 MB/s (PIO mode 4, DMA mode 2)

You can also go to Fujitsu's website and download the UltraDMA mode changer utility and give it a shot.
Here's a link:

Hope this helps!
