I have been experience issues with my graphics card on my Lenovo Y510. One day it randomly bluescreened and I couldn't log into my computer so I had to boot into safe-mode. I uninstalled the graphics card driver and I could then boot into normal windows running on no dedicated graphics card. I couldn't play any games whatsoever and the cover flow on iTunes doesn't display. From then my computer would sometimes randomly blue screen noticeably a short period after turning on my computer but only once a day.
Recently I installed windows 7 clean install and removed vista. I installed the NVIDIA graphics card driver again and this time I could boot into normal windows without it blue-screening.
Now there is a Nvidia Driver on my taskbar tray but when I click it it says "You are not currently using a display attached to a NVIDIA GPU".
The Nvidia settings are there on the control panel but the same error message pops up when I try to open it.
I am running a Lenovo Y510 notebook on Windows 7 32bit with a NVIDIA 9300M G
