The SSD had been used in the old PC for about 6 months with no problem.
The new PC came up without problem but about a week later it failed to boot and the SSD was no longer recognized.
I installed a HD and used that while Mushkin replaced the SSD.
Installed the replacement SSD on 12/20 and it worked fine until today.
This morning while reading emails windows shuts down to "prevent damage".
When I tried to boot the SSD was no longer found.
Put in another HD and restored from yesterdays BU and running again.
The only idea here is the PS but no idea how to approach getting that replaced.
Any ideas are appreciated.
Edited to Add: When I finished writing this message I looked at Win Explorer and the SSD drive was listed and contents seemed to be ok so I unplugged the just added HD and rebooted and the SSD was recognized and loaded and that's what I'm using now. Loose cable?
Edit #2: Went to take down Christmas tree, returned to a can't find boot device, or similiar words. Powered down and back up and it booted normally. Think I will swap the cable to the SSD but it worked fine with the HD.
