[Graphic Cards] MSI GTX 660 vs. ASUS GTX 660

Hey guys, which one would you recommend, MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr (N660 TF 2GD5/OC), or ASUS GeForce GTX 660 DirectCU II TOP (GTX660-DC2TG-2GD5)? I know the price is pretty far apart, but I heard that the MSI's version has better cooling temperature, while the ASUS has better performance. So I'm just going to go with you guys opinion, thanks for the reply :)

  1. The ASUS one is huge. If you're planning on SLI then MSI. If not... Well the cheaper one. And of performance better... You can overclock the MSI to get similar or even better performance. But the ASUS one is quiter. Both are good your choice! And: What res? Rig specs? # of monitors?
  2. Since you're asking for specs, I'll give it here, XD.
Core i5-3570, Gigabyte GA-77X-D3H, Corsair 8GB 1600MHz Vengeance Twin, GX Power Lite Power 750W, Cooler Master V8 CPU Cooler, this pretty much it. By the way, this is still in plan, I might buy these in December, I'm just using a normal 19" Monitor.

I'm not thinking of OC'ing though.
  3. Since nobody replied me on my post at Graphic Cards section, I'm gonna post it here. :/

  5. Hi,

For my part I recommend Asus if you don't plan to overclock.

It would be nice to include your full computer specs so that we can recommend.

I have read on a few tread that msi has some problems with some gtx 6XX cards
  6. Grab an MSI for best cooling solution unless you overclock it temps won't go over 60-65.
  7. I'm not going to overclock anything since I'm just gonna play in normal hours.
I think I'll go for ASUS, thanks for the replies guys! :)
