Any experience with 2560 monitors?

Hi all. I built my first computer a few months ago and haven't been real happy with the display. I currently have a 23" 1920x1080 acer and have been debating on getting one of those korean 27" 2560x1440 monitors off ebay. Could anyone tell me their experience with a 2560 monitor for gaming? I very rarely play shooters so I'm not too concerned about the 6ms response time on the catleaps. In case you're wondering I have a 3570k/7870. If I find that isn't powerful enough I'll get an 8950 or similar when they come out. Thanks in advance.

2560 monitor is best for gaming than 1920i
6ms response is not late responce in actual.
And 3570k/7870 is enough for using this monitor.
You can buy 2560 monitor under USD300.

I also think 6~8ms is no problem.
but you have to know for making ultra video option, 7870 may not enough,
of course if you can compromise the options, it would be good.
and my friend just found cheap and reliable korean monitor shopping mall.
