How do I get into the engineers menu on the afore mentioned phone? I read
somewhere that you can adjust the picture quality further from this menu ?

Thanks

You heard wrong I'm afraid. There is the warranty menu though - from the
standby screen enter *#war0anty#.

Not a lot (manufacture data, lifetimer etc.), try it and see (I haven't got
a Nokia in front of me at the moment or I'd give you some more detail).

BTW, could you please not top-post - it only screws the thread up.

In different places in newsgroups, 'top post' seems to mean different
things...
a) setting system time/date early so as to appear high on the list of
headers,
b) adding your comments at the top when replying to a message ( as I
have done here) and which can be very annoying to someone trying to
read the the thread chronologically, or
c)using a reply to someone's message as an excuse to talk about
something (or request something) totally different

It does? Only ever seen it mean one thing on Usenet....

Irrelevant as most people can sort by various different headers to get
the view they want. Proper threading also sorts this out without any
action being required.

That's the one, since you're usually replying to someone else's post you
include just enough quoted text to establish the context and then
follow on afterwards or intersperse your comments as I'm doing here.

That's just thread drift, happens all the time....
