No fax on win7 what to do

I can not find fax and scan on win7 64. I have done the following
- no program in the program list
- Control panel/programs and Features/Turn windows features on and off/print document services/ticked fax and scan, OK restart.
Still no joy.Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Is it possible it is not in my windows 7 64 program?

More about win7
  1. your printer/scanner/fax should have come with a driver disk, if not check the manufacturers website.

    Overall just use email =P
  2. The actual program, 'Windows Fax and Scan', is located in the system32 folder, named as 'WFS.exe'.

Try looking there and launching the program.
  3. click start and in the fun box tpye fax(above all programs and files will propogate with the word fax in it) click on windows fax and scan
this will bring up windows scan and fax
  4. Just on the off chance that it(Windows Fax and Scan) is not installed, you can always check under add remove programs(type add remove in the start menu to see it)

In the window that opens, click Turn Windows features on or off on the left side of the screen then check to see if Windows Fax and Scan is checked under Print and document services.
  5. Hi :)

To make it work you realise you need a dial up modem (not a broadband one)

    All the best Brett :)
