Hey everyone,
I recently (2/3 weeks ago) built myself a new rig. I went with a EVGA GTX 670 FTW edition graphics card which overall I'm really pleased with!
However, over the last couple of days I've noticed that it's been idling at temps around 40-50 C, whereas before it wasn't going above 30C! The temps under load haven't really changed atall, as before I'm getting no more than 71/72C max during a heavy gaming session on games like Empire: Total War and Saints Row 3. Which after looking around the internet for a bit seems perfectly normal for this card.
I went ahead and created a custom fan curve in Precision X which is keeping the fan working at between 10 and 20 more than the GPU temp. This does seem to have made a bit of difference but even so I don't understand why the temps should have suddenly jumped like this?
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks
Spec:

Asus P8z77-v Mobo
