660ti sli vs 7950 cfx

I have a $300 budget and will buy 1 of these cards now and upgrade to a 2nd one a month later.

I think that if I was only looking to make this a 1 video card build, I would go with the 7950 and overclock it, but since I have decided to FINALLY make a dual video card setup, I am very hesitant as to what I should go with.

Hopefully the community can help.

I will have a 3x 24" asus monitors at 1920x1080 + either 1x 27" monitor or 1x 40" TV.

I will not be using the 3 monitors for eyefinity or whatever. I usually play my game on my main screen and have browsers up on the other screens. Most likely youtube or a game guide and of course, core temp and msi afterburner to monitor my temps.

My current setup is:

Asus z77
i5 3570k
16gb viper 1600mhz
wetern digital black
rosewill 1300w psu

radeon hd 7950 offers 7970-gtx 680 performance when overclocked.

Also because it is 384-bit the 7950 won't be bottlenecked by the bus.

I think so but only you can decide that. Sapphire's HD 7950 Vapor-X comes with a large dual-fan cooler that uses the company's famous vapor-chamber technology. On the Vapor-X you will also find a "Lethal Boost" button which switches to a second BIOS with higher clock speeds. With this BIOS, clocks are increased to 950 MHz GPU and 1250 MHz memory.
