HP Z800 as new server?

Hello there,

One of our customer who owes us $ offered a practically new server (2-months old) for our new business. The goal of this server is to run software and to save images of our incoming (16) IP 5-Megapixel cameras. We already have a purpose-built video server for the other (16) cameras.

I know this is an older server that is one generation old. Will this server be a good base for our purpose? Enough power to manage the cameras? Do we need to add another Xeon (since there is only one of board)? Of course, we need to add more hard drive to run RAID.

Any idea would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

HP Z800 FM103UT#ABA
Xeon E5630 2.53Ghz (only 1)
NVidia Quadro 2000 Card
(10) GB DDR3 SDRAM DDR3-1333/PC3-10600-300GB HDD

Again, thanks so much
