And cant seem to install graphic card driver, system says I have vga standard cards when I have 2 x radeon 6xxx ( cant remember but 2x2gb )

Its an alienware m18x with windows 7 64 bit, I re-installed windows using the Cd and got on the internet by updating network card with a usb stick from another computer internet.

Now I cant seem to update the drivers, wtf is a vga standard card ?

Went to dell website and tried to install every program, none works, catalyst center cant seem to identify I have a radeon card plugged in, please help :(

You should go to the AMD site and download and install the Radeon 6xxx drivers.

did you install the chipset drivers first?

all you should have installed is the driver for the AMD/ATI video card.

uninstall all video softwares and reinstall the one for the AMD.

Update Win 7 as well. you need the proper .Net components installed for Catalyst to install properly as well.
