APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: I would like to buy a new card in the next couple of weeks. BUDGET RANGE: Around $100, maybe a little more.

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming. I play World of Tanks, GTA IV, and a number of games from the Total War series

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: ATI Radeon HD 5450, Thermaltake TR2 430W

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: HP Pavillion P6000 series, Model #P6674Y, AMD Phenom II Quad Core 820 processor 2.8 GHz, 6GB RAM, Windows 7

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Amazon COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Don't care

PARTS PREFERENCES: no preference

OVERCLOCKING: no Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Monitor runs at the recommended 1600 x 900

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Looking for improved framerates on the games I play and the ability to take the graphics of the games up a notch since I usually have to play at low and medium settings. Was looking at this card Radeon HD 6670 DDR3 since it was recommended on this website as being a good card for under $100.

Your advice and help would be most appreciated.

You could get a Radeon HD 7770 for a little over $100, that's a pretty good card. I'm not sure about your power supply though - Thermaltake TR2, I think that's short for Terribly Risky.

Might be safer to get a HD 7750, it uses less power. It's significantly better than the 6670.
