You can use the drop down on that page to navigate through the list. Quite a few of the monitors discussed on these pages, but not yet reviewed are examined.

The Sharp LL-T17D3 in the link above can be had for ~ 340 GBP (incl P+P) I assume it's a Hyundai panel give the 20ms response time?

I guess when Butaz is back from his Hols next week there will be some new TFT reviews on THG or did I get that wrong?

Many UK Magazines have a publication date that is the following Month. So the "October issue" actually appears in September. I guess it is a total BS thing to help shops shift "old" magazines.

Seeing as we are on the topic more pet peeves:

1) Much of the UK Computer press also has the highly irritating habit, that the main and sometimes only price listed and referred to is excluding Value Added Tax(VAT). The excuse being that many who purchase the magazines are in business and can reclaim the VAT. Whilst there is some justification for this, you have to imagine it is more of a sales trick in cahoots with advertisters to help grab peoples interest in products that will be more expensive than they may at first realise. All this seems a bit rich, when many of the reviews are for pure consumer products and are highly unlikely to be bought by any business.

eg http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/rev [...] p?id=40114

Or even hobbyist products, how many companies will buy the latest Nvidia or ATI graphice card?

I'd love to see the sales figures of the mags and exactly how many of their readers are private individuals vs businesses.

2) The cover disks invariably contains shareware that is 3-6 months old. The type of software that is there will almost inevitably have gone through any major/minor revisons in the interim. The argument being that the magazine wishes to ensure quality/compatability/lack of viruses.

I was therefore surprised on visit to Germany to find German magazines with the very latest versions of software. In fact I seem to remember the German version of Netscape being more recent than the English one distibuted with a UK magazine and ofc ~ 6 Months older.

<Rant Over>
