New amd pc build

Hello,
I'm planning to build my first pc and need your advice if the parts are good enough.so my list goes with AMD 8350 cpu, crosshair v-formula mobo, vengeance jet black 16gb 2x8 1600, seagate barracuda 7200rpm 2tb sata 64mb, Lian Li pc-k59b case, Antec High Current Gamer 620w psu and a xfx radeon hd 7950 graphics card.Really need your expert opinion/suggestions and any other components/parts that is needed on this assembly? This system will be built for gaming and a little of video editing.Many Thanks!

whats ur budget?

My budget is £800 but would be happy if that is not maxed.the list I made summed up to around £750 without the OS from a local dealer. thank you for a quick respond.

Correction, the £750 is with the sabertooth 990fx mobo not the crosshair v-formula.it would be £35 more with the crosshair.my apologies...

you dont need 16 gig of RAM for gaming
2 x4 gig is plenty

I would not buy a 7950 with the reference cooler . Gigabyte , asus andd sapphire have better coolers . Especially the Gigabyte windforce

I appreciate your advice and that is what I need to start building this PC.

Apart from what you have mentioned is there anything that I need to change from my list? I'm thinking of using gigabyte ga-990fxa ud3?, Sabertooth 990fx r2.0? Or stick with the crosshair v-formula for a bit of future proofing and reliability?

So far, I got the amd 8350cpu,sabertooth 990fx r2.0 mobo,2x4 (8gb) 1600mhz ripjaws ram,m4 64gb ssd,seagate barracuda 1tb hdd,evga gtx660Ti gpu,lian li k59b case, and waiting for my be quiet 630w psu.I would appreciate any suggestion with regards to power supply as I am not sure what wattage is neccessary or sufficient for this system. Thank You!
