CPU -Z 1.61 freezes system after apgrade to Sapphire HD 7770

I just upgraded my card to Sapphire HD 7770 OC edition. Everything is working great , also played NFS-Most wanted 2012.
But When ever I run CPU-Z 1.61 it just freezes the computer with vertical lining , first in gray-white shade and then red shades.

Is anyone else got this problem ? Any solution for this?
I like CPU-z to monitor my machine status.

Did you install CPU-Z after installing the card? If before try reinstalling the program.
