Do i need a new Card

I have a 570 evga and its working ok, would a 670 be that much of an upgrade. any information would be great.

I doubt it's worth the upgrade. GTX 670 is at most 20% faster than the GTX 570. Getting a second GTX 570 for SLI would be worth it much more.

yes..from 570 to 670 will be a big upgrade..

670 almost 50% faster than 570..

Yea, I was wrong with 20%. It's something like 35%.

Still, a second GTX 570 would give a much bigger boost.

I wouldn't upgrade unless you are having trouble running your games at the settings you want. If everything is running okay now, you probably won't even notice the difference.

Agree it would be a big upgrade. the architecture of the cards is way different. Would i upgrade, not unless I needed to. And I would never sli the 570. I would go for the newer card.

anyway 74 -100 is 26

so it seems its a 26% increase

100/74 = 1.35, that means 35% .

and this is the trouble with automated benchmarks. people only look at FPS and performance means much more than just that.

yeah, just make sure that your psu is capable of running 2x570..
you'll be surprised with your electricity bill...
and you have to pay attention to the stuttering issue

btw, would you like to see the website link that I gave above?
670 in certain games even reaches 100% improvement compared to the 570 ..

relative benchmark is not best way to compared performance of cards..

still, IMO, one powerfull card is better than 2 slow card..
