This is my soon to be build, what would you change? On a $1000 budget.
CPU- intel i5-3570k
CPU Cooler- Coolermaster 212 EVO
Mobo- asrock z77 extreme4 or the Asus Maximus V gene
Memory- Corsair Vengeance 8gb
GPU- EVGA GeForce GTX 660 2gb OC
PSU- Corsair CX-600 watt
HDD- Seagate Barracuda 2tb
SSD- Sundisk Extreme SSD

Also, have you selected a case? Seems to be missing from the list. (kind of an important component)

My take on it. The 3570K is geared for over clocking and you don't get much gain in over clocking these Ivy Bridge cpu's in regards to gaming. Your looking at an paying $40 more for a 3570K than the 3470 and then add another $30 for the cpu cooler. As far as the dual vid card option goes, more times than naught people don't ever get around to adding a second card for the fact that by the time they need that second card something newer and better is out on the market by then. That psu down below is modular and makes for a cleaner build (less cable clutter in the case).
