Suitable graphics card for Asus Sabertooth 990FX

HI.
I have just purchased Asus Sabertooth 990FX Motherboard, and i have absolutely no idea what graphics card to buy. The Motherboard's I/O port doesn't come with either HDMI or VGA. So, a graphics card is a must.

Basically, this system won't be used for any gaming whatsoever, until early next year, that's when i'll buy some great graphics cards. So, a cheap one will do nicely - until then. I'm looking to spend between £20 - £40. It will be used for 1080P HD Blu-Ray Movies and HD internet content, also i will be using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit. I'm not sure if 64-Bit needs a good graphics card or something? but if it does, i'll need a more suitable recommendation(s) for around my set price range.

To help out some readers that are not familiar with this mobo, i'll list my specs. Also, i can see 4 PCIE 2.0 x16 Slots on this mobo, but i only want one card for now.

PC Specs:
Asus Sabertooth 990FX Motherboard AM3+ Socket
CPU: AMD Phenom ii x4 965 - 3.4 Ghz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 1600MHz
HARD DRIVE: Seagate Sata 3 - 1TB 7200rpm 32MB Buffer
SanDisk Extreme 240GB SSD
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
PSU: Ocz Fatal1ty 750W
NZXT USB 3.0 Tower Case

  1. Heck, I'd imagine almost anything you could toss in there would do the trick for you. Even my old 8800GTS did blu-ray flawlessly. I'd say even a 2xx series from the used bin would be a good temporary holder until you buy a card next year. At least that way you'll have the next gen either in your grasp or really close. :)
  2. Within that price range i would go with this card

pretty good for the price and has Blu-ray 3d support
  3. I would go with a Radeon HD6570.
