This may be off topic. If so, please excuse... What are some fun things
to do with your camera and a group of people? I have a circle of
friends and we all share a single thing in common if nothing else. Our
appreciation of a particular hobby (not photography). Concerning this
hobby I have stimulated a couple of different interests with macro
photography being one of them. Today I started a gallery for pics where
the item of interest is somewhere in the picture, an almost where's
waldo type of deal. I'm mostly interested in getting people
interested in taking pictures... not necessarily the hobby in question.
What fun things do you do to become inspired to share photos?
Proofreading the above post my references sound almost cryptic. I
collect fountain pens and have a little website for fountain pens. How
can I get people interested in sharing photos? Game or contest ideas
perhaps?
Thanks for any light you have to shed on this matter.

If your collector friends are like mine, they are proud and eager to
show off their collected prizes.
I'd invite participation in a show-off:
"Show us your
favorite or
most desirable
hardest to come by
luckiest acquisition
least likely to be understood by others
item you most like to get rid of".
In other words, answer the questions people with similar interests ask
each other in person.
