Hello, this question may be unrelated to this board but I needed some help. I have Comcast At Home at my house and I'm a Dish Network user. I don't get satellite t.v. in my room but Comcast gave me a splitter for the cable. Is it as easy as just splitting the cable into my t.v. and getting regular cable on my t.v. that way? I was told you can do that by a friend of mine but after splitting it, my t.v. doesn't get cable. I wasn't sure if something was just wrong with my t.v. or not. If someone can please respond back i'd greatly appreciate it.

ypu are on the wrong forum, but here is a possible solution. First, the cable signal that goes from the satilite to the cable reciever is different, and incompatable with most TV's and VCR's. You will need to purchase a separate receiver and hook it up to your TV/VCR. These can be purchased from almost any electronic store. Have fun.

If it works for you then don't fix it.
