HD3D 3 Monitor 7970 Crossfire Question

Hi there,

I looking for an answer as to whether or not I would need to get 2 cards that have 3 or more DP cards, or whether I could have 2 cards that have 2 DP ports and use 2 on one, 1 on another.

Crossfire requires all monitors be connected to the primary video card. Be sure to buy a 7970 with 3 DP ports.
