Can My Power Supply Hand 2 GTX 670.

Hello guys,

I was wondering can my Corsair CP-9020014-UK Gaming Series 800W Power Supply handle 2 nVidia branded GTX 670 Charged 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express.

My Spec's are:
i7 3770k
8GB DDR3 (1600Mhz)
Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H, Intel Z77
120GB Kingston HyperX 3K Series Rev 3.0 SSD SATA 3 with 3.5
250GB Old HDD.

  1. You should end up somewhere around 650w so that psu should be fine. Unless you are running three LCDs, I recommend getting the fastest single gpu you can afford as multi gpu setups still have issues.
  2. It has 792W on the 12V rail. That's enough for an overclocked 3770k and about three 670s.
  3. Plenty of power. I am running SLI OC'd 670s and and OC'd 3770k on a solid 750w.
  4. nVidia itself recommend 500W for a single 670. Add 170W for SLI & recommended is 670W.

    For testing conducted for SLI 670, the resulting system consumption for SLI is 433W of which 293W are attributed to the gpu cards.
