dku usb cable problem

Hi all
Just subscribed as i know u exist but never been here before.
I have a Nokia 7270 and have a usb dku data cable
This cable worked fine on my 7200 but in recent times wouldnt connect saying
'data enhancement not supported'
I am trying to connect my 7270 using the same cable and getting the same
error message
is the cable knackered? or is there something else i need to do.
I have downloaded the driver updates etc.

maybe i'll buy the other as this one used to work with the 7200

Does anyone know what the actual differences are between these cables?

I have a DKU-5, which I use with my Nokia 6100, but it is a bit
unreliable and sometimes takes a while to get working.

I was wondering if the CA-42 might perform a bit better.
