Weird issue

hello,
i have an i5 3470 + gtx 660 system. i play max payne 3 on max detail + FXAA and it works pretty well at 50 - 60 FPS.
i can play for hours and it stays the same BUT as soon as i minimize the game to check something, when i restore the window
the stays on 30 maybe 40 at times. i would like to add that my CPU + GPU temps are low and it's happening even when im playing for a couple of minutes.

please help!

Do you mean that your framerate drops to 30-40fps after restoring from a minimise? If yes, then that can sometimes mean that triple buffering wasn't enabled again when you restored the game. Was a common issue in Crysis 2, didn't think it was in Max Payne 3. Although I could be wrong.

yes after restoring, how do i correct this triple buffering issue? first i thought it was CPU affinity problem.

i just checked and the problem is gone when disabling VSYNC
