I recently got offered to be given another Nvidia GTX 560Ti from a friend. I'm curious if its worth doing SLI and possibly a 3 screen setup, or if its slightly a waste of time to SLI a 560Ti?
Specs for my system are
CPU: Phenom II X4 965 OC'd to 4.0ghz
Cooler: Corsair H60 push/pull
RAM: 8gb Kingston HyperX T1 1600Mhz (will be 16gb soon)
GPU: Single reference GTX560Ti OC'd 950mhz/2200mhz
Mobo: Asus M5A99X EVO
PSU: Thermaltake 850W
HD: Seagate 500gb 7200rpm
Monitor: Acer S230HL 1920x1080
Case: Antec 900
Most I would be playing is BF3, WoW, ToR, and Skyrim. Always thought a 3 screen setup would be a "cool" thing to have, but unsure if its capable on a 560Ti SLI rig.
Also if the 560Ti SLI cannot handle 3 screens, would it still be a performance upgrade to SLI with a single monitor?
