Hello, I was wondering if this is the best build for my money for a gaming rig for games in 2013 and 2014

The build cost is around the $1000 range give or take $100

feel free to suggest another build or parts.

Also will i be able to max out games of 2012 on ultra, bf3, metro 2033, the witcher 2, etc?

CPU Intel Core i5 3570k $220
Motherboard Gigabyte Z77X-D3H $115
Memory 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz DDR3 Low Profile 1.5v $40
GPU MSI GTX 660 Ti Power Edition $290
Case Corsair Carbide Series 200R $70
Hard Drive Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM $78
Optical Drive OEM DVD Drive or OEM Blu Ray Drive $23
PSU Corsair TX650 $75
CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus $25
OS Windows 8 64 bit $80
Total $1016

I'd advise windows 7 as well - windows 8 is immature enough to still have compatibility and driver issues.

I'd also be doing what I could to try to fit a 670 in there - it will make a decent difference, and the 660ti is the cut off line between maxing games out on ultra, and not being able to - the lesser card will choke on the poorly optimized games and super intense ones.

I would personally get a 7950 instead of a 660ti, but it's your call

And another thing, windows 7 over windows 8 right now since I've heard a lot of feedbacks from friends and colleagues that some programs and games isn't running properly or does not run at all (Maybe a couple months later, most of these things will be fixed, who knows)

I would get from newegg, I have a few problems with tiger. Some rep from them tried to get my friend to buy useless components, also they only show the rebate prices. Why wouldn't I trust newegg reviews? They work the same as every other place.
