Will my computer run slower without a good video card

i never purchased a top notch graphics card before. why? because im not a computer gamer

if i dont add a graphics card to my new build will that prevent my desktop from running good and quick?

if your a salesman please dont take over the replies. i dont have $$ and id like to know my desktop will run just fine without being sold something i dont even need for my proposed build

No. Graphics cards would primarily be beneficial if you were a gamer. There are a few other situations, but generally speaking, if you were going to be doing any of those things, there's a very good chance you would already know that a video card would be useful. So you should be fine with any integrated video chip.

There's stuff outside of gaming they're good for, but that's pretty niche stuff.

If you don't game it's no big deal.

unless you are gaming, doing computer aided design work, or doing any workload that requires gpgpu, gpus aren't necessary
