Having an issue accessing my desktop from my laptop.
Pretty simple setup...desktop and a laptop connected wireless to a linksys router and router connected to my generic modem I received from WildBlue.
Recently I have not been able to access the shares on my desktop from my laptop. Still have internet access and the desktop shows up, but it just hangs when i try to access it. I have found that resetting the modem and router corrects the issue, but only until my laptop is restarted. Once I restart my laptop, I have to reset the router AND modem. I really don't want to do this every time my laptop is restarted.
Am I looking at getting a new modem or is there some issue I can correct.
