I recently built a new computer with an MSI 990FXA-GD65 motherboard. I was wondering if an HIS Radeon HD 7970 would work with my motherboard. The exact information for this video card is: HIS H797F3G2M Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card. Because before this I had a video card not work for me on this brand new motherboard and it was a Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 TI FTW. I know that this motherboard has a AMD chipset and it is crossfire x ready but it was also Nvidia SLI ready, and the Nvidia card didn't work. It just has me nervous that this new card isn't going to work. I'd appreciate some help and info on this. Thanks.

both cards should work well

The reason the nVidia didnt work has nothing to do with AMD chipsets
