I had to format my hd to make a new XP installation on my old computer.
I'm having problems in recognizing my card.
I'll try to be more as specific as possible.
-The card alimentation light is on and the monitor is plugged to her VGA, i'm using it right now... so it looks like the card isn't broken. The model is printed on her label ^^
-I installed some motherboard drivers, also the AGP one, to be sure the problem was not there. The motherboard agp utility seems to run properly.
-My PC recognizes a Video Controller (compatible VGA) with no driver, that has to be my video card.
-Everytime i try to install Catalyst the installation folder remains empty, like the program was unaware of the card true nature. This works both for the right driver, wich should be the hotfix for hd3000 series AGP, and all the others i tried.
-When i try with amd autodetect, the program CRASHES ISTANTLY giving me no time, even to look at the program window (i just see it for a moment).
-GPU-z leaves me with a blank ***...
First of all, forgive me if i'm going to use a somewhat poor english, cuz i'm italian
At this time i really don't know how to fix the problem.
