will a cooler master thunder 600 watt spms support amd/ati radeon hd 6950 200 watt card? i have a core2duo e7500 processor, 8 gb ram ddr3, 500 gb harddisk (hitachi), a g41 gigabyte motherboard.

A system with an HD 6950 only needs a recommended 500w power supply. Coolermaster is not a real good brand though. If you can find one go with Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling, XFX, Silverstone, Enermax, OCZ, Antec or the higher rated Rosewill units.

I wouldn't go for anything from CoolerMaster in terms of reliability.
