Hey all-

I'm trying to do some trouble shooting on my pewter, and I was wondering if anyone knew what the different blink patterns ment on the LED on the power button. I have a Gateway with a kt133 mobo and I'm getting no post or video and the LED is doing a quick, repetitive green blink. I know this means something is wrong or incorrectly connected but what? So does anyone know of a chart with LED blink meanings? Gateway was no help. I spent half an hour being instructed to plug in ribbon cables (which I can understand but it took SOOO long...), and that's really about it, then I was directed to another guy who promptly said I needed to travel 4 hours away to a service center. Geez... they just didn't seem too computer smart.

Oh well... Thanks all... I hope I put this in the right forum; unless I missed the weird LED symptom forum somewhere right?

with the type of your mb, you can download the manual of from the constructor site & you can have the pattern meanings.


if you know you don't know, the way could be more easy.
