Can anyone help im lost now ?

hi guys well what the problem is, i have a dell st2210 monitor and i have been useing mmy vga to my computer for over 2 years now but when i first got it i played my xbox through it via hdmi to hdmi now i cant get it to play anything through hdmi even the computer ?? just keeps saying entering power saveing mode i have look all over the internet and im lost just want both to work again i mean thay did before so why is this happing how someone can help ????
