Hey guys, I'm planning to build a new PC in the coming week or two, and I'm really having a tough time deciding on a graphic card.

I am on a budget, but I still want to have decent pc. Here's what I'm having trouble with. Which graphic card should I go with?

1. XFX Radeon 7870 Core Ed. for $189 after rebate
http://us.ncix.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031501&s...

2. GeForce 660 Ti (Dont know which make or model yet, but most of them cost around $250ish)

3. GeForce 660 GTX (Dont know which make or model yet, but mos tof them cost around $200ish)

4. GeForce 670 (Don't know, but costs around $300)

5. Radeo 7950 (Don't know which , but a friend of mine is selling it for $280)

So my processor will be an i5 3570k. Which will be the best card for me?
I am leaning greatly towards the 7870, because from what I've heard, it is almost similar to the 660ti in terms of performance and also, it is the cheapest, but everyone's been telling me not to go with ati cards.

On the higher end is the 670 and the 7950. I think the 7950 beats the 670, and is also cheaper. But the 670 is a beast of a card, but a bit on the expensive side,

So guys, can you help me? Any advice/answers/thoughts are highly appreciated.

7870 for sure. Best price/performance of any of those cards, and will give you great performance on any game you play.

If you can spring for a 7950 then I would take that over the 670 personally. It's a better value for similar performance.

Yeah a 650Watt PSU is overkill but that's good.

At the resolutions you've stated you'll game at you could run any game at max on any of those cards. I'd suggest getting a nice 24" IPS screen thats 16:10 at 1920x1200 resolution if you can at some point. Expensive, but they are gorgeous.

All great cards but playing at those resolutions those cards will be overkill i would bump up to 1920x1080 to take advantage of those cards myself, I think you should check out Toms Hardware best graphics card for money, they post good info there and might help you, I would get few more suggestions on your MB the I like the MSI bios but I think I read that G41 boards not there best few bucks more and I think you will be happier.

There's a $100 price gap between the 7870 and the 7950. I'm waiting on deals for graphic cards for black friday. If the 7950 drops to like 200-250, I'm def getting that.

Also, is 650w overkill? People suggested me 750w haha.
What psu should I be getting?
