  1. No you shouldn't.The GTX560ti isn't that much faster and it's really not worth the trouble for a 10% increase. The 2GB of the 6870 will last a lot longer as well.I myself have a 6870 crossfire and I find that most of the games I play are maxing out the VRAM.I wish they made the 2GB cards back when I bought mine.

Thanks a lot, you didnt lose much in terms or resale value. No one even bothers about the 2GB when I try to sell it
Btw, if i buy a cheap used 1GB later for xfire will it show 2GB, 3GB, or 1GB?
  3. It's not worth the hassle. I wouldn't bother upgrading to anything less than a GTX660 or a 7870.
  4. Thanks for the replies (Y)
  5. Anyone know how much GDDR5 ram will come if i xfire 2GB and 1gb?
  6. only one gb, both cards must have same stuff stored in their rams so the smallest amount determines the available space in multicard setups
  7. I don't think many people even know they made a 2GB 6870.Only a few companies made them and it was a long time after release when they came onto the market.

Your better off going with another 2GB card. The advantage you have with that card is the more VRAM so you want to keep it.
