What are your views on the Asus GeForce GTX 650 ? Tags: Nvidia Asus Graphics Last response: November 19, 2012 10:11 PM in Graphics & Displays Share t1mone November 18, 2012 8:32:47 PM hey i'm looking round for cheapish a mid range graphics card and i found this. i also play quite a lot of processor heavy games such as BF3, Skyrim, GTA 4 and those sort of things. Is this card a suitable replacement for my Asus HD 6670 and would it be able to play most modern games on full? Card suggestion: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX... More about : views asus geforce gtx 650 Sunius a b Î Nvidia November 18, 2012 8:37:47 PM It's terribly overpriced. It's just little bit faster than your HD 6670, and thus you will see no noticeable boost in performance. I'd suggest getting at least GTX 650 Ti if you want to see a great increase in performance: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1gb-gigabyte-gtx-650-ti-... Though, it will not be able to max out all the games it mentioned. Should be fine for Skyrim or GTA 4 to play on high settings (not max), but Battlefield 3 demands much much. It also depends on your resolution. resin34 November 18, 2012 8:40:38 PM ^ correct Related resources Upgrading cm6850-07 with asus gtx 670 and Corsair PSU ( 650 watts) - Forum Gigabyte GeForce GTX 275 vs Gainward GeForce GTX 650 Ti - Forum GeForce GTX 650 PSU? - Forum Geforce GTX650 ti MSI vs ASUS ??? Is a good point, how much you looking to spend and what is the rest of the system(power supply is important with more powerful cards.). The 7850's power consumption being close to a 5770 is actually impressive. samuelspark November 19, 2012 12:09:55 AM The EVGA 650 Ti SSC is only $10 less than a 1GB 7850. esrever November 19, 2012 1:55:36 AM either go with a 6870 or a 7850, preferably the 7850 if you have the money. 6870 is more powerful than the 650ti and costs less. Price difference is bigger in UK. archvince November 19, 2012 4:30:38 AM Prices does vary from country to country. I am from the Philippines. Prices here skyrocket compare to their original prices. I know the 6870 is a more powerful card, but the 650 Ti is a newer model right? In that case, which card do you guys recommend? Just to give you an idea in the difference in prices, the 7850 costs about $70 more than the 650 Ti here in our country. samuelspark November 19, 2012 1:02:42 PM http://www.amazon.co.uk/VTX3D-X-Edition-Graphics-Expres... 130 pounds 7850 Sunius a b Î Nvidia November 19, 2012 1:17:57 PM ^ That's pounds . samuelspark November 19, 2012 1:24:17 PM Sunius said:^ That's pounds .
