hey i'm looking round for cheapish a mid range graphics card and i found this. i also play quite a lot of processor heavy games such as BF3, Skyrim, GTA 4 and those sort of things.

Is this card a suitable replacement for my Asus HD 6670 and would it be able to play most modern games on full?

Card suggestion:

It's terribly overpriced. It's just little bit faster than your HD 6670, and thus you will see no noticeable boost in performance.

I'd suggest getting at least GTX 650 Ti if you want to see a great increase in performance:

Though, it will not be able to max out all the games it mentioned. Should be fine for Skyrim or GTA 4 to play on high settings (not max), but Battlefield 3 demands much much. It also depends on your resolution.

Gigabyte makes nice GPU's.

the 7850 is a great card on sale, but still a fair bit over the price of the 650 and 650ti.

Is a good point, how much you looking to spend and what is the rest of the system(power supply is important with more powerful cards.).

The 7850's power consumption being close to a 5770 is actually impressive.

Doesn't really cost less, plus, do we know OP's PSU is powerful enough? :)

OP is not in US. Price difference is bigger in UK.

Prices does vary from country to country. I am from the Philippines. Prices here skyrocket compare to their original prices.

I know the 6870 is a more powerful card, but the 650 Ti is a newer model right? In that case, which card do you guys recommend?

Just to give you an idea in the difference in prices, the 7850 costs about $70 more than the 650 Ti here in our country.
